Le chef adjoint du Nouveau Parti démocratique (NPD) Canadien, Alexandre Boulerice, presse à nouveau le gouvernement de Justin Trudeau de légiférer pour que « les plateformes de diffusion web comme Pornhub soient tenues responsables de leur contenu ».
« Actuellement, c’est le Far West », dénonce le député québécois, qui fait partie d’un groupe de 70 élus fédéraux qui demandent également une enquête criminelle sur MindGeek, société mère de Pornhub.
Le chef adjoint du NPD a ainsi réagi lundi aux révélations de La Presse sur le dur et long parcours d’une jeune Québécoise pour faire retirer des images intimes diffusées sans son consentement sur Pornhub, alors même qu’elle était soutenue par deux enquêteurs de police dans sa démarche.
