À mi-chemin entre la pornographie et l’univers d’animation japonais, le hentai offre à ses adeptes une multitude de fantasmes et de pratiques sexuelles. Mais qu’est-ce que ce terme signifie exactement ? À qui s’adresse-t-il ? Explications.
Si vous n’êtes pas adepte de la pornographie, le mot "hentai" ne vous dit peut-être rien. Et pourtant, il séduit de plus en plus. Le hentai parle aux femmes comme aux hommes, aux personnes seules comme à celles en couple. Il regorge de pratiques sexuelles mais reste encore parfois méconnu. Alors, que peut-on voir lorsque l'on s’intéresse au hentai ?
"Hentai" : quelle est la signification de ce mot ?
Une définition s’impose tout d'abord : le hentai est l’abréviation de "hentai seiyoku", qui signifie "perversion", "métamorphose" ou encore "transformation" en japonais. Ce mot n’a, en lui-même, aucune connotation sexuelle et ne définit pas un genre en particulier dans son pays d’origine. Mais son long voyage jusqu’en Occident lui a conféré un tout autre sens : le mot "hentai" y est en effet utilisé pour désigner des mangas et des animes – série ou film d’animation japonais – à caractère pornographique.
