Ces annonces interviennent quatre jours après la publication dans le journal américain de témoignages de jeunes femmes, mineures au moment des faits, dont les vidéos pornographiques ont été publiées sur la plate-forme.
Le géant de la pornographie assure qu’il ne s’agit que de la conclusion logique d’une enquête menée à son initiative par une commission d’experts en avril dernier. Le hasard du calendrier interroge pourtant : quatre jours après la publication dans le New York Times d’une série de témoignages édifiants de jeunes femmes (mineures au moment des faits) victimes de « revenge porn », la plate-forme de partage de vidéo Pornhub a annoncé mardi 8 décembre une série de changements à venir sur son site.
