La création de ce campus numérique va nécessiter un investissement de 16 millions d'euros. L'agglomération vannetaise vient d'acquérir le site idoine d'une surface couverte de 4.500 m².
L'agglomération de Vannes veut devenir une place forte régionale en matière de cybersécurité et de data sciences. Elle a donc décidé de regrouper les structures locales de formation supérieure dans un campus numérique dédié à ces deux domaines.
Ce campus va être aménagé dans les 4.500 m² de l'ex-CCI du Morbihan à Vannes, un espace dont l'agglomération vient de signer l'acquisition.
