Ce grand oiseau haut de cinq mètres dressé place de Trocadéro représente un clitoris anatomique. Il nous rappelle que, contrairement à une ignorance tenace, le clitoris n’est pas seulement un « bouton », un « grain de raisin », un « berlingot », un « diamant sur canapé », bref un minuscule pénis érogène affleurant sur le sexe des femmes, mais un organe complet, tissé de grappes nerveuses denses hautement sensibles, équipé de quatre longues jambes intérieures ou «racines» pleines de capillaires qui enserrent le vagin, se gonflant de sang pendant l’amour. Un organe lentement élaboré par la sélection sexuelle et dédié au plaisir… et scandaleusement méconnu.
