Flickr, le service de partage de photos, s’interroge sur l’hébergement de contenus sexuels. Un peu à la manière d’OnlyFans, il étudie la possibilité de laisser ses utilisateurs payants diffuser du contenu NSFW.
Comment rendre un service comme Flickr rentable ? C’est la question que se pose SmugMug, propriétaire du service de partage de photos depuis 2018. Autrefois connu pour sa très grande générosité (on pouvait héberger 1 To de photos gratuitement), Flickr essaye depuis de pousser ses utilisateurs vers ses offres payantes. On ne peut aujourd’hui héberger que 1000 photos sur la plateforme et, prochainement, Flickr limitera à 50 le nombre d’images non publiques qu’un utilisateur pourra stocker sur son compte. Flickr n’est plus vraiment un concurrent de Google Photos.
