Le site de streaming permettait à certaines chaines d’apparaître en première page contre de l’argent. Twitch a désormais mis en pause de manière indéfinie les trains de boost.
Depuis le 30 mars, certains utilisateurs de Twitch se sont rendu compte que des streams d’un genre particulier se retrouvaient sur la page d’accueil du site. À plusieurs occasions, des visiteurs ont remarqué que dans la partie « Chaînes live qui pourraient vous plaire » Twitch leur conseillait … des streams diffusant du contenu pornographique.
La streameuse Noosh22 a interpelé Twitch pour cette raison le 30 mars. « Hey Twitch … L’option « payer pour de la promo » que vous avez mise en place vient de me proposer ça », a-t-elle tweeté après avoir vu un stream porno conseillé sur sa page d’accueil. Et elle n’est pas la seule.
