Twitter accusé de ne rien faire contre la diffusion des contenus pornographiques, Instagram condamné à une amende record pour "manquement au traitement des données des mineurs"... Plusieurs réseaux sociaux sont pointés du doigt pour ne pas protéger suffisamment le public mineur.
Par un décret rendu applicable ce lundi 5 septembre, la loi française renforce désormais le contrôle parental sur les moyens d'accès à internet. Dans les faits, les fabricants d'appareils connectés sont tenus de proposer l'activation gratuite d'un dispositif de contrôle parental lors de la première mise en service de l'équipement. L'objectif est clair : il s'agit de protéger le public mineur des contenus pornographiques qui pullulent sur internet. Le décret de cette loi, adoptée en mars dernier, intervient au moment où Instagram et Twitter sont pointés du doigt pour leur manquement en matière de protection du public mineur.
