Todos os dias, bem cedo, Ágata calçava as mesmas sapatilhas desgastadas e caminhava até o instituto de pesquisas onde trabalhava sem registro. Ao fim do expediente, recebia o valor das pesquisas custosamente realizadas em notas surradas de R$ 5 e R$ 10, até juntar, com sorte, cento e poucos. Ela não tinha documentação retificada e apesar de seu português perfeito, boa noção de conhecimentos gerais e inglês fluente, não conseguia um emprego formal. Tinha de se conformar com o cotidiano explorador do seu local de trabalho, onde outra vez foi retirada de uma grande pesquisa sem justificativas plausíveis, logo após o dono do instituto descobrir que ela era uma mulher trans....
