Malgré une loi datant de 2020, plus de 10% de l'audience des sept grands pourvoyeurs de X sur le Web sont encore mineurs. Aucun système de blocage ne satisfait à ce jour les acteurs du marché et le régulateur.
Une France accro au porno. Sur le Web, il existe près d'un millier de sites spécialisés et accessibles gratuitement; et l'assiduité des visiteurs est réelle, à en croire de récentes études. Selon le dernier pointage effectué en novembre 2022 par SimilarWeb, spécialiste britannique de l'analyse de trafic sur Internet, cinq sites pornographiques sont classés parmi les 50 sites les plus consultés dans l'Hexagone. Le premier d'entre eux, Pornhub, se range en onzième position, devant Netflix, le site du journal L'Equipe ou celui du quotidien Le Monde.
