Une fois de plus, les cheveux m’ont dressé sur la tête, mercredi matin, en lisant un article de mes collègues Gabrielle Duchaine et Caroline Touzin, qui enquêtent depuis plusieurs mois sur le sujet aussi vaste qu’horripilant de l’exploitation sexuelle des mineurs.
Leur dernière découverte : MindGeek, l’entreprise qui chapeaute Pornhub, l’immense plateforme de diffusion de vidéos pornographiques professionnelles et amateurs, et qui est accusée par des victimes alléguées de diffuser des vidéos d’exploitation sexuelle de mineures, ne croit pas que la loi canadienne qui oblige les sites web à rapporter directement à la Gendarmerie royale du Canada (GRC) les cas de pédopornographie et autres formes d’exploitation sexuelle d’enfants s’applique à elle.
