Avec le Covid-19, de nombreuses jeunes femmes frappées par la crise ont vu dans les réseaux sociaux OnlyFans et Mym un nouveau moyen de gagner de l’argent. ELLE a rencontré celles qui vivent de la monétisation de leurs photos et vidéos intimes.
Un million de dollars en six heures. C’est la somme astronomique qu’affirme avoir gagné la rappeuse Bhad Bhabie après l’ouverture début avril de son compte OnlyFans, un réseau social surnommé aussi « l’Instagram du porno ». L’Américaine, tout juste majeure, fait payer $23.99 (environ vingt euros) par mois à ceux qui souhaitent s’abonner à son profil et ainsi accéder à un contenu exclusif. Son crédo ? Proposer du « soft » : des photos et des vidéos en sous-vêtements, parfois topless, dans des poses langoureuses et suggestives. Parmi les 85 millions d’utilisateurs de ce réseau social qui héberge une majorité des comptes à caractère érotique et pornographique, on retrouve des célébrités (Bella Thorne, Cardi B, Blac Chyna, Clara Morgane, Tyler Posey...) ou de parfaits inconnus. Tous, ou presque, monétisent leur corps.
