L'État de l'Utah a adopté récemment un texte de loi imposant aux fabricants de smartphones et tablettes l'installation d'un filtre bloquant les contenus pornographiques.
Un blocage par défaut pour empêcher les jeunes d'accéder aux contenus pornographiques sur les smartphones. L'État américain de l'Utah a adopté le 23 mars un projet de loi imposant un filtre antipornographie à tous les smartphones et tablettes activés dans sa juridiction après le 1er janvier 2022.
Le texte, que le gouverneur républicain Spencer Cox a annoncé mercredi 23 mars avoir signé la veille, prévoit des pénalités frappant les fabricants qui ne respecteraient pas la règle, allant de 10 à 500 dollars par infraction relevée.
