Pressé par ses partenaires financiers, le site pour adulte a mis à jour ses conditions d'utilisation après la parution d'une enquête pointant son laxisme dans la modération des contenus illégaux.
Les menaces de sanctions financières de certains de ses partenaires auront finalement convaincu Pornhub de durcir le ton face aux contenus illégaux qui prolifèrent sur sa plateforme.
Sous pression depuis la parution d'une enquête du New York Times l'accusant de laxisme face aux centaines de milliers de vidéos d'agressions sexuelles et de scènes de sexe mettant en scène des adolescentes hébergées sur ses serveurs, le géant du porno a annoncé mardi 8 décembre une série de mesures pour lutter contre les contenus illégaux.
La veille, les gestionnaires de cartes de crédit Visa et Mastercard avaient menacé de couper leurs liens avec le site s'il s'avère qu'il ne respecte pas la loi.
